I know it's not the video from earlier today but I thought I would share a couple of cards created using October's Monthly Make, so here goes....
This first card has been created using Distress Oxides for the background, with three colours being sploged on and the hexagon texture stamp used to first water resist, then stamp the 3 colours randomly all over. It was also stamped and cut out to create layers on the card.
The sketchy Hexagon Frame was used to create focus, embossing it in white onto back card along with the word "out". "Stand" was stamped onto white card cur out and matted.
I love the grungy effect created on this card using the stamp sets.
Now this next card is a lot more delicate........
White Embossing powder and kraft card what a perfect combination, I repeat stamped the delicate frame all over the card, and embossed with white embossing powder.
I added a little pink Distress Oxide to one side of each of the hexagons, then stamped the stitch frame and a word in all but the central hexagon.
The central hexagon was stamped onto white card and "Yourself " embossing in copper. The little rectangle stamp was stamped in the same pink and the word "Be" embossed onto to it.
